Lab Work – Perhaps, the best way to show ‘work’ or work in progress; in most cases, the purpose is to highlight the struggle to find a solution, the test effort and the learning that takes place when fixing stuff. Or another way to share various phases of the problem solving process – hypothesize: test, learn and apply.

Lab Work – Ice Hockey Video – Full Games, fights and all

Dive into Ice Hockey, a 1988 Classic NES Nintendo Entertainment System video game

Choose a team, set a speed, select a duration, create a team profile, and hit the ice. Simple.

Among the hockey titles, Blades of Steel, NHL 98, NHL 2024, and Ice Hockey, the original NES Ice Hockey game might just take the cake. The differences, are significant, such as more control in the newer games, can sometimes be too much in my opinion. Take it for what it is. There are moments when I simply want to pickup a game, play, enjoy that time, and then set it down. With the newer games, there is often a story mode or a “get into the league” challenge.

In contrast, NES Ice Hockey is all about grabbing a stick and just playing. I believe that’s way it remains at the top of the list of hockey games… maybe tied with NHL’98, but it’s been too long for both. The NHL series of games has some tricks and scoring tips, but the newest version’s AI (NHL 2024) accounts for those said moves, which seems to take away some of the skill from 97′-’98. It’s a bummer, more skill required I suppose. Getting down to the basics, I love the simplicity of grabbing a stick an playing the NES Ice Hockey game…

The play-ability, in-game challenge, speed and accuracy are key in the NES game. The fighting scenes are a bit odd, fun, as it looks like two whirling dervishes glitching out, it’s quite amusing. While some of the other games mentioned above refine the fighting button combinations, and cut-scenes… this is something the game lacks in creativity. Not a reason to skip this as a “buy”. More so, it’s a 30 year old relic, so it’s a matter of appreciation for those developers. Which is fine, it doesn’t take away from the game nor the nostalgia.

Moving past the fighting scenes, the Zamboni cut-scene is great for periods and half-time, goalies… no complaints here! Truly, this game is a gem for nearly 40 years. It’s amazing to think that these original NES console games have had a 40 year shelf life. Who would have thought that at 8, 9 or 10 years old, I would be writing about them 40 years later?

Next, thanks for the coverage @worldOfLongPlays, love the video and complete game play-through. I can always count on the full game from your channel. Helps to explain the nostalgia, since I’ll never own and/or play the game again. In any case, check out the @worldLongOfLongPlays Playlist on NES Ice Hockey on YouTube Logo YouTube… You can always see our video playlists, or check the video category on our website.

LED Board Swap

Lab Work – Outdoor LED lighting Board Swap

The project involves replacing Outdoor Lights, the existing boards with new parts, installing new boards, and more.

Landscape lighting is a essential indoor and outdoor need/functional element for those who need to be outside in the yard at night. . Rather it’s for a backyard bbq, campfire and s’mores or find your loving pets… Low voltage, LED lights help to illuminate an otherwise dark exterior space. Make sure you have the necessary tools on hand: Klein Tools Ratcheting Screwdriver (or various screwdrivers including a Philips Head), a tech driver set – Klein Tools Screwdriver Set (featuring smaller bits) for boards, electrical tape and Klein Tools Klein Kurve Stripper and Cutters wire cutters/pliers for cutting, stripping and connecting wires. If you have those items on hand, you should be ready to go. Other items you may need include wire caps (twist-on’s), DeWalt Rapid Heat Glue Gun (a hot glue gun) and extra glue sticks. Depending on the initial installation, you may only need the tools mentioned above. It’s always helpful to keep some of these items around the office for such a project.

Connect New Boards
Frayed Wires

Frayed Wires

Quick Connects, Wire Caps, Glue
Quickly, I wanted to make sure it’s stated outdoor lighting should have sealed connections – wire caps and glue if you have them. It’s important to keep those wires protected, connected and in good working order. Cut and strip only what you need, cover, tape and protect what might have been exposed during the stripping process. Once,  you have the correct wires prepped, stripped and connected… be careful to replace the wires back in the housing (in our case, fencing or fence tube). Connections are key to turning lights on use connectors if available or simply twist on a wire cap and apply some hot glue to protect connections from the elements.
Conclusion and Fun Project
We love quick fixes and enjoy fixing things around the office and home. If the task is too complex, it’s best to consult a professional. In this instance, we reached out to an electrician to discuss voltage, the replacement process, and any potential issues when dealing with outdoor lighting. Safety is paramount when working with electricity, outdoor lighting, or technology, so always process with caution. If you have the necessary tools and patience to install, take the time to fix outdoor low-voltage lighting solutions. If you’re looking for more project work, check out our Barebones Torch video. A great project to do at home with the young members of the family. Enjoy!

Artwork – Mixed Media, Sketches and Artwork

It’s been awhile, let’s see what is going on, see our latest Artwork Updates on X.

I have to admit it’s been months since I shared any artwork or mixed-media projects, or provided any insight into my creative process. While I’ve shared a few marketing ads here and there, I haven’t shared anything on this scale in a while. I thought it might be interesting to share my before sketches,  unfinished work and even pieces that didn’t quite make the cut. So, here’s the idea.

20 Minutes A Day

I dedicate 20 minutes a day to my sketching, painting, mixed-media, and artwork preparation activities for new, in progress or pre-work. Most of my work is done in a few 5.5″ x 8.5″ sketchpads, which I will eventually transfer to canvas board, wood, or another medium. I’m not yet sure how I want to share these pieces moving forward; X, web or the combination of the two. This won’t be a comprehensive listing, but rather a good representation of the sketches and paintings I’m currently working on. Ultimately, I would like to showcase all of my work in some way, but for now, here’s a quick look at my artwork updates.

Next, you can have look over my other pieces, completed artwork, studies and mixed-media projects. In closing, this is just a continuation, more of a beginning on the site. I will continue to keep you all updated on my whereabouts, what I’m working on in terms of art/artwork, as well as things happening in and around the office here or what’s on the bench.

Currently, I am focusing some energy on around 40 smaller pieces. My goal is to continue sketching for at least 20 minutes per day. I am also planning to include more pieces featuring human anatomy, various animals, boats and aircraft. For those computer people from the internet, check out the ASCII Art post… very cool.

Finally, stay tuned. In the meantime, feel free to follow my work online @sallee_creates on X.com. Take a look, and follow me if you’d like. Cheers!

Elden Ring DLC Review

More On Elden Ring DLC

Let’s discuss @theRadBrad & @FightnCowboy Do Elden Ring – Shadow of the ErdTree DLC

Elden Ring DLC Review Start

Lab Work – Review – Elden Ring DLC – Shadow Of The ErdTree by @theRadBrad and @fightnCowboy

First of all, let’s kick off the Elden Ring DLC Video Review with compliments and kudos to @theRadBrad for the Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the ErdTree and @FightnCowboy for their DLC coverage, play-throughs and game play. We appreciate the hours you both put into covering the game as content creators. Obviously, the skills needed to complete the main game and the DLC are something I don’t have (yet), but thanks to you both, it might be possible one day.

Secondly, the process of sharing content on YouTube for the masses is at an exceptional pace. Both of you have a tremendous number of followers, with videos and playlists going back many years. This article is a compliment to the two content creators, and a show of appreciation for their game play.

BorneSouls Experience

So, let’s stay topical, IMO (in my opinion), the best game to date. My gaming knowledge is somewhat superficial, so take it with a grain of salt. Let me set the stage: while working, most of the time, if not all the time, I’ve got YouTube running content on a tertiary monitor for this very reason. Again, I say it’s topical (superficial is a little harsh), but out of all the games I’ve purchased and played over the years, this seems to be the best all-around game. Now, the caveat, unfortunately, my limited experience with BorneSouls games places me in the novice to beginner category. That’s a timing thing. My time is focused on the business, complemented by such YouTube creators.

Content Consumption

It’s fair to say that I’ve watched most of @theRadBrads public content, mainly focusing on new releases and delving deeper into digging more into niche games and Final Fantasy type games. So, yes, it’s fair to say I’ve grown accustomed to the play-through cadence and tempo that Brad publishes. This cadence can certainly be influenced by his members. with shout-outs for likes and subscribes. Always go to see, content driven by members. Furthermore, I think that is where other creators can help or complement game play, walk-throughs, guides, etc. This is where @fightnCowboy comes in. Again, it’s about complementing the two content creators rather than comparing the them.

I’ve more recently added @fightnCowboy to the manual playlist, depending on work load. Right now, I’m cruising through The Last Faith play-through again. It’s great content for coding, writing and creating if you ask me. Honestly, my schedule is all over the place, so I could spend more time watching livestreams. On that same point, I gravitate towards the D&D games, RPGs and ‘beat ’em ups’. Lately,  from a nostalgia perspective, the ‘beat ’em ups’ have been at the top of the playthrough list. This includes the Elden Ring games, BorneSouls, ‘metroid-vania’ style games, Hellblade, Ghost, God Of War, Assassins’ (really too many to note here, but we will continue to cover such games and give insight where applicable).

Elden Ring Experience And DLC Next Steps

I’m currently stuck on Margit myself. I have a Samurai Build that is more focused on farming.  Farming is where I spend most of my time these days. Margit keeps spoiling my progress, acting as a blocker for weeks. So, for now, I’ll stick to farming. At least until I do more research,  watch more videos, and see more play-throughs that can help me get past Margit. I have to admit, I wouldn’t have made it this far without the play-through content; it’s essential. I just need to spend more time in the game chair to make progress. I’m determined to get there, even if it takes me all year.

It’s fair to say I’ve failed miserably at finding time to play and progressing through the game has been a bit more challenging. Limited time has meant limited play, so farming has beome more of a focus these days as my character is still in the early stages. I have found a few farming areas with giants, common turtles, poison blobs, and more. So, I am spending the much needed time farming and upgrading my character (samurai). I definitely need to clean up a few giant farming sessions and spend time leveling up.

Moving onto the DLC, we can’t access it until we finish Elden Ring, main content). It might take me the rest of the year.

From a content perspective, I have been reviewing the gameplay and walk throughs, which is important as I am so far behind on the main content and just wrapping up the last phases of the Elden Ring DLC. This is by far my personal favorite game to watch,  and I can’t wait to play it myself. It acts as a fantastic follow-up to the original game. Hats off to the creators and designers of this series, which hopefully continues like the other BorneSouls games. Dare I say, the DLC should be announced or voted as game of the year? Perhaps even more.

Lastly, I want to steer away from comparing the two content creators and instead five a shoutout to both @theRadBrad and @FightnCowboy. This article is intended to be a quick read, a followup to the DLC video, and a platform to share our thoughts on the DLC. It is also a recommendation, highlighting  Elden Ring/Elden Ring DLC play-through.  Ultimately, it is another reason why you should watch other content creators and gamer playlist.

Maytronics Nautilus CC Plus Repair Update

Dolphin On

Dolphin Motor Unit Exchange

Lab Work – Maytronics Repair, Dolphin On, Post Hurricane

Parts are in, Dolphin Has Been Repaired, Cleaning Away

Let’s take a closer look at the process. Upon further inspection, I found corrosion around the motors. The seal around the power cord also appears to be in poor condition. So, I proceed with a teardown, replacing the power unit, and tread ball bearings to restore the robot back to full capacity with genuine OEM parts. A self-test  was performed as need, I conducted a number of in-water and out-of-water tests which worked perfectly. As it should, under normal power. Next, I replaced all parts and picked up where we left off on the last article Nautilus Down (check that out if you missed it).

Pre-Check, Install and Test

Check all cogs, ball bearings, drive pin, and wheel/hub parts. Make sure ball bearings are moving freely and free of rust or degradation. Replaced any parts showing degradation or major rust. Filled electronic parts and pressure seals with pool lube and reconnected parts, careful to screw-down fasteners and plastic nuts with appropriate tension. Dolphin On. Additionally, both out-of-water and in-the-water tests performed as expected. Time for a swim! Cinched down any screws, or screens, package up the robot and ran the clean cycle.

Brush Down and Toggle The Dolphin On

If you can’t tell, the pool has sand, debris and dragonflies. Before we toggle the Dolphin On, let’s do a quick brush down of the pool to encourage removal.  You can kind of see here the pool was a bit dirty,  as the hurricane kicked up enough debris for the Dolphin to clean. There was no pool cage carnage, or aluminum part failure, which is great. Minor screen damage only.

Maytronics Documents and More

Finally, following the test cycles, Dolphin on, put in the water and cleaned the pool well. In most cases, the vacuum actively cleans on stage 1, please the Maytronics manuals. Find Stage 1 testing and more robot testing features under the Nautilus CC Plus section. I hope this information helps, how to get your pool robot fixed and Dolphin On. If anyone out there needs assistance, please contact me I am happy to help. Thanks! As usual leave a comment below to let us know what you’re thinking!

Nautlius Motor Troubles

Lab Work – Maytronics Repair, Dolphin Down. Let’s fix the Nautilus CC Plus

Looks like a new motor unit is required. Full teardown ahead.

Exciting news! A new series, Dolphin Down, is coming soon. This series is related to the repair of the Maytronics Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus. Currently, we are awaiting the arrival of a new motor unit. In the meantime, we are in the process of dismantling the Nautilus CC Plus robot in search of a malfunctioning drive motor.

The fan motor is functioning properly, passing both tests passed – underwater and out-of-water tests. The multimeter has confirmed that the drive motor is not working. The circuit board appears to be in good, working condition confirmed by the blinking green LEDs. The LEDs indicating that it is functioning as expected. This a positive sign for our robot and the repair diagnosis.

To begin the teardown process, find a safe spot and grab a multi-tool with pliers, flathead and cross bits (Phillips bits). Start by removing the power cord from the unit and unplugging the unit from the wall if necessary. First, on the Dolphin, unscrew the four screws under the filter doors to remove the top. Use the transparent or white flathead key or knob to pop open the propeller gate, which is easily accessible once the filter doors are open.

Next, slide the cord out from under the blue, body cover after removing the four main screws. Adjust the cord, remove the floats and be careful when removing the side panels. These panels should just pop off top down.  Just be aware of the tabs on the bottom of the panels, this is what hold the body shells in place. Use the pliers to unscrew the blue cord connected to the power unit, as well as the four screws holding the two yellow cord strips to the unit. Unscrew the four unit screws holding the motor unit in place and it will be free.

Finally, check all cogs, drive belts, and wheel/hub parts. Ensure that the ball bearings are moving freely, unobstructed and are free of rust or degradation.  Replace any parts that showing degradation, wear or significant rust. Fill with lubricant and reconnect parts, being careful to screw with appropriate tension. Test the robot out of water first, followed by half-submerged and fully submerged underwater tests. *Updated – Check out the repair – Dolphin On or the first post we commented on regarding the Maytronics Nautilus Dolphin for more information on troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs. More information will be provided in the next *5 business days, as we will be receiving the new motor unit packaging up the robot and running the cleaning cycle. Thank you.

The Last Faith Video Review

Let’s Discuss The Last Faith Video Review

@fightnCowboy Play-through The Last Faith

The Last Faith Video Review

Lab Work – Review – The Last Faith content produced by @fightnCowboy

Another Metroid-Vania style Let’s Play by @fightinCowboy, an excellent play-though. We need more of these indie fighting games like this!

About The Last Faith

The Last Faith Video Review, is a new classic mashup with a ‘Metroid-vania’ backdrop and game treatment. Marching along, carrying on the modern Metroid-vania-style games. @fightCowboy is masterful in his play-through, the reason I’m buying the game and the reason I follow his content. The Last Faith was initially released in November 2023 on PS5/PS4, XBox, Nintendo, and PC. The game was developed by Steam by Kuni Souls Game and Playstack on the Unity Engine

This Souls-like, vampire-like fighting game is golden, a gem. First released on November 15, 2023, this game screams perfection, reminiscent of a cross between Souls, Castlevania, Elden Ring, and the Blasphemous series. It’s an absolute gem of a game. The game is a must-buy and is on my wish list, as I’m still working on Elden Ring while writing this article. Another Indie ‘Metroid-vania’ type game (I don’t mean another Indie game being bad in this case)… this is a great example of non-mainstram gaming at its finest.

PS5 Controllers (Modern)

I’m going to take a chance here and say that I probably lean towards Blasphemous and The Last Faith because they remind me of the Castlevania Series I grew up with. The controls are the main issue for me. I’m honestly struggling with the dual-stick, could be my age or the number of controllers I’ve had to memorize to this point. May be it’s the sensitivity of the thumb-sticks. To better describe it, it feels like playing Golden Eye, Counterstrike, or Halo… It’s like a drone remote, and it can be tricky at times. I just can’t seem to get the right motion for the camera and perspective stick. For example I just can’t find the right motion to play Elden Ring.

However, The Last Faith is next on my list of games to purchase despite the thumb-stick challenges. I’m  sure there will be come new or difficulties with it as well, but since the game is presented in 2D, horizontal scoll view like Metroid-vania style , it reduces the level of stress and frustration compared to first or third personal views.

Game Play

Game play, characters, bosses, do more of it. The Gothic and vampiric amalgamation gives off a good vibe and the Unity engine seems to work well for this Indie title. I believe the Metroid-vania treatment attracts old-school gamers, while enhancing playability for thos in the younger generations who grew up on the action RPG genre. A shout out to @fightnCowboy for the play-through the quality and skill displayed are unmatched. This aligns with my enjoyment of the game, as I can immerse myself in the gameplay and envision myself playing along. This helps me learn the game, acquire skills, and apply when I’ve learned from the play-through. Thank you for your efforts.

Buy or No Buy and Follow @fightinCowboy

So, this is a buy and here is why. It’s a newer Castlevania type game, love the Simon and Dracula series from some 30 years ago, specifically 1994’s Super Castlevania IV, more on that soon as @lordKayoss has a play-through I have to post. I use a different scale, not a 0-100, but more NPS (Net Promoter Score), ‘how likely am I to pass, hold or buy a game in the next 6 months?’. “Pass” means is I’m likely not going to buy or review. “Hold” is that ‘meh’ or in-between status, where theROI (purchase to entertainment factor is off) is iffy. It’s not a no, but I may watch the game online or a play-through to understand the premise. Then there is the “Buy” category, and The Last Faith, is 100% a buy.

For comparison, or to communicate what is on my buy list there are three games in total. A few other games that have peaked my interest, creeping up on my buy list is Black Myth Wukong Video and the Elden Ring DLC (read the review, I plan on tackling Elden Ring more in the 4th quarter). Which was not out at the time of @figthncowboy play-through. So, here are my current “Buys”: The Last Faith, Black Myth and the new Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Official World Premiere Trailer – is by Ubisoft Quebec and Ubisoft slated for November 2024. More to come on all three titles.

MLB The Show 23 Review

Review The Show 23

Let’s discuss MLB The Show’s, Road To The Show

MLB The Show 23 - WS Win

Lab Work – Review – MLB The Show 23

Grew up playing baseball, dreaming of the big leagues “bigs’. MLB The Show 23 Video Review starts with a similar dream sequence where your character dreams of being drafted and playing baseball professionally. Get drafted.

As a huge baseball fan at heart let’s talk about MLB The Show 23 first. The game has been out for a year now, with 24 being available for some time since it’s initial release in March 2024. From a demand perspective,MLB The Show 23 is currently discounted ($29.99). Don’t miss out on this great game for the price. You can also pick up MLB The Show 24 at its normal price ($69.99). Pricing may change, assume it will. This article was written as seasonal/quarterly pricing dropped. We will cover that game and the upgrades in the next month or two.

For us, there are a lot of pre-play modifications, design and character modifications, customization options, such as scanning your face for those who want their player to look like themselves virtually. Special character features are included in MLB The Show 23. We skipped around, and created one of the biggest virtual players (similar to an Aaron Judge type character),and jumped into the game. If it’s your first time playing The Show, keep it simple. You can always update and modify your character as you continue to improve their ball skills and perks. Those who want to modify their avatars can do so. As I mentioned, you’ll keep modifying your player throughout the game.

Character, check. Position, second base, check. Team, Houston Astros, check. Goals, make it to the Majors, an All Star Game, Home Run Derby if possible, and a Championship. Let’s play. Teams will come and go, but in hindsight. I wasn’t focused on one particular team, or a favorite team. So, Houston it is, starting out in their Double AA affiliate, the Corpus Christi Hooks. And onto the Triple AAA affiliate, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, as a first baseman. I was having trouble with throwing mechanics, so it made sense why I was ultimately moved to Tampa, once I made it ‘To The Show’.

Keep it simple, second base, play as much as I can. Learn how to hit, different areas of the field, ‘stealing’ and general feel for the game. Don’t over look the game packs as I did. Build your players skills, talents, equipment list and play often. Another pointer, try and develop relationships with other players, when at bat, or batting, look around to see who is on base; look to drive in those players; effectively furthering the relationship with players on the diamond. Same can be said with hitting, learn the mechanics, pitches (pitch horizon, target zone and pitch types. We will keep this above all the hitting and pitching details. There is a lot there as I said above.

Ok, formal play, we play our way through the first season, limited missteps, but throwing remains a problem. Note, you can go back to the main screen and choose to play ‘old school’ baseball mechanics. This limits controller bindings, limiting buttons, pad and sticks/bumpers. Back to the game. We moved up to the Big Show in our second season, not for long… the move from Houston to Tampa came fairly quick as expected. What I didn’t expect was the move from Second to First Base. Perhaps I should’ve. So, first base it is, MLB team, Tampa Bay Rays.

So, this is where I spent a lot of my time building my characters skills, stats, perks, equipment and more. Give those in game challenges a go, fail fast. Packs are going to help your characters specials or influence player type. My player type is a home run ball hitter, going yard’, a Great Bambino type (*for you Sandlot Super Fans); a super contact hitter. Power comes later. Stealing is a bit dry here in the early game play. My player just doesn’t have the speed or the right timing. Get the practice in while you can, like my fielding, stealing is some what of a mystery (I stay away from later in the game).

We celebrate our first All Star games on both the AA and AAA affiliates, and get into a good pattern of limiting field errors and going yard (hitting home runs).

We Continue with In-Game challenges and Practice

Things I wish I knew to start: equipment packs, open those asap. You can earn packs by completing the in-game challenges, do so. Two, once an action has been selected, (meaning the choice was made to play a game vs sim a game)… actively participate in in-game skills challenges. If you don’t know what you’re doing, before hopping into the game, take some practice time.

Practice time, helps with all around skills, remote control stuff (how to hold it, familiarize yourself with the controls, what does what etc.). You’ve really got 4 to 5 seasons to move onto another team, play often and try to hit home runs.

Moving on, so, 4 years with the Rays, following the 2 first year seasons. I will maintain a lookout for other teams interest, to see if we can create a super team. For now, Tampa is the team. Also, the team where we go on to win the first of three World Series Titles.

Two More Titles

Two titles won with Tampa, separate seasons, the second coming late in the middle third of my career  ~88 – 90 range of experience points. Riding out the first WS and the rookie contract, no takers, we whined up with the Durham Bulls in the off season following contract arbitration. Missing out on a max deal, and not knowing how the game ‘functions’ just yet.. meaning expected outcomes vs moves that might take you in the direction you want to go with your career.

Missed Max Deal, Picked up by the Astros, Durham Bulls.

This is the time, where game play, or playing (playing each game vs simulating a game, month or season) makes more sense. The cutscenes will keep you in line with game expectations and outcomes, if you so choose to pay attention to those scenes. Our first Home Run Derby was a flop, while the All Star game was a mild success. Not my best game, but sticking to the 3 for 4, multi-home run achievement per game. A divisional MVP and a Second World Series. See images below here. I’ll post some of my next stint in a future post.. as I’m trying to keep this surface level content.

The jump off point, late in my career, I want to win, best options are not on the table… so, spring ball is where I go. Missing out on a third max contract. Unfortunately, of the teams offering contracts – Brewers, Cardinals, Reds and Padres; I was not interested. Like before, we ended up choosing our next team, which came in the form of a pin-stripe uniform. The Yankees, love ’em or hate ’em, I was playing first base, max contract for 2 years, late in my career. Now at that 90-92 experience score level. Almost playing every game in the season, so, time will tell where the season ends.

Quick ending here, we wrap up with our agent/player discussion, and what’s next for the veteran. Ultimately choosing to move on, the article closes with the ‘pursuit’ of a fourth go around; a 4th World Series. I missed out on a second in Houston, but that’s fine. I’ll come back to the game in the next few months as a new player, maybe a lefty pitcher; a Dennis Eckersley or Randy Johnson type – super tall, lanky, sub-ball thrower, throwing heat. So, I’ll leave you with this – keep it simple, max out your player, play often, sim less if you can. Win those card packs, before you choose which item to select, use triangle to preview value. You can always dump players, doubles or discard traits you don’t want onto the online marketplace. Yes, you can sell cards too. Finally, increase your power, contact, speed and equipment.
